
ABOUT
Vatt Khmer & Khmer American Cultural Center (VK & Khmer Cultural Center) is located in Lowell, MASS. The temple was founded in 2018 to help bring together our community and honor our ancestors and to preserve our culture through four the Buddhist pillars: (1) the Buddha (the enlightened One), (2) the Dharma (84,000 Teachings of the Buddha), (3) the Sangha (community of Buddhist monks), and the Buddhist practitioners (the laypeople or community members). We welcome everyone who wants to learn and experience our tradition and culture.
Vatt Khmer have five monks who take wow of Buddhism and public services to provide programs and services to the fastest growing Cambodian diaspora community in the greater Lowell, Massachusetts, which is home to the second largest, estimated to be of 35,000 members strong, Based on the 2020 US Census. These ceremonial services and programs including traditional funeral services, wedding blessings, birthdays to name just a few of them here.
